Introducing the Athena, the sixth disc in the Paul McBeth lineup. The Athena is going to be that workhorse 7 speed that bridges the gap between your mids and your distance drivers.
It is an overstable fairway driver with excellent torque resistance, able to hold up to powerful backhands and forehands. Extremely comfortable in the hand and no doubt it will be another Discraft-fan favorite in the overstable fairway slot
This 7-speed driver is for control shots with a dependable fade. Expect similar shot shaping flight characteristics to the Anax with reliable over-stability. About the plastic: ESP plastic is a high performance plastic excellent for both beginners and pros. It has a great amount of both grip and durability. It will gently beat-in over time. Initially it starts off closer to Star plastic from Innova, but a bit more stiff. These are some of the swirliest and most beautiful discs on the market that just seem to get better and better the more you throw them!
