About the plastic: Opto-X is a stiffer, more durable, more overstable version of Opto. Opto is a perfect combination of polymers to produce some of the most beautiful and durable discs in disc golf. Discs in this plastic are translucent, fairly soft & gummy and are extremely durable so they can take a good beating and maintain their original flight path.
